These days, people always use computer for work or study. They use computer for their homework and hobby. They take four classes to study English. In these class, They often have to use computer. Computer is very useful. Computer is very important in the KGU English classes.

First, they often use the computer in Writing class. In this class, they have to write blog on Blogger. They have to post book review, essay, typing, and free post. They write it about their favorites. For example, their favorite sports, sweets, song, season, car, and so on. It is a little difficult for them to write a lot of words in English. But , it is good for studying English. They want to write well more and more.

Second, they use the computer in Speaking class. They use it for presentation. We take presentation about aerial restaurant. They enjoyed to make it. They don't like to make it, because some students are not good at to use computer. But, my friends help me to make it. They enjoyed listening to my classmates presentation. It was very good! Also, they use computer for English Central. It is Speaking class's homework. They often do it in my home. It has a lot of movie. They can study English pronunciation. It is very good to study. They want to watch a lot of movie more!

Third, they use the computer in Reading class. They use it to watch online news paper. Also, they use RNN. It is online current English dictionary. It is very useful to read news paper. Some students can't understand well without current English dictionary. They have to study more.

Finally, they use computer at home. They use it for study and fun. They use to do their homework and listing to music or watching movie. Using computer, they can study english more. They want to use it well. They want to improve their English skill to use the computer.

Essay 2-02b: Selecting a Good Cafe

Most of people like eating and drinking. They  often go to cafes. Compared to  cafe, Saint Marc, Doutor Coffee Shop and Starbucks Coffee. Those caffees are very famous and popular in Japan. These are known to most of all.

First,  talk about Saint Marc cafe. There is a head office in Okayama,Japan. This shop’s recommendation is set menu. This shop sell morning set and lunch set.Lunch set is very good and reasonabl. People  can eat lunch set about 500 yen.   In addition, breads hot from the oven and sandwich.  Particular, chococro is very famous and popular and delicious. Chococro has many favors. For example, pudding, daifuku, green tea, white chocolate, strawberry chocolate and so on. It sells adapt seaon. There are various drinks. For example, coffee, smoothie and soup and so on. They can enjoy menu of the season limitatoin. Saint Marc cafe’s food and drink are cheaper than other shops. We can relax in this shop. Many people study and read books in this shop.This shop is easy for one person to eat and take a break. It is very important thing for Japanese people.

Second, about Doutor Coffee Shop. People can enjoy sandwich, hot dog, sweets and drink. This cafe has a lot of preferences. For example, they uses high level’s coffee beans, open fire roast, clean water and machine. Also, they use special breads. They have confidence in taste and materials. They value health, so they show allergic materials and calorie. We can feel great security. Doutor Coffee has milano sandwich. It has many menu. For example, sumiyaki chiken and gobo salad, shimp and smoked salmon Avocado tartar sauce,  chicken and ham with avocado sauce. These are very good taste and volumy. Doutor offee is No.1 coffee shop in West Japan. It sales better than any other coffee shops. Dotour Coffee is more reasonable than Starbucks. It is very important point for students and teens. This shop's foods and beverages are very delicious and high quality, but it is low price. Also, this shop's atmosphere is easy to buy and take a break.

Finally, about Starbucks Coffee. This first shop is in Seattle. This shop is loved by people all over the world. This shop has history. There are more than 1000 shops in Japan. There are a lot of drink, sweets and sandwich menu. There are various coffee and tea menu. People  enjoy new menu every season. They can enjoy walk while drinking and drive through. This is very convenience.  Also, this shop’s staffs are famous for their service is very good. They always smile and speak cheerily. Customers feel good. They are very professional. The reason, this shop is so big and education is perfect. Starbuck's food and beverages are a little high price, but these are loved by many people. These are worth to pay many. These are very delicious. This shop often makes season limited food and beverages. It is one of topics whole young people. If they eat it, they often contribution to SNS with pictures.

Through these cafes, there are a lot of good points each other. Diffrent point is their indiviuality. When people  use cafe, people  think their  hope, and select cafe. When people have a little money, they  go to Saint Marc cafe, it is a good way. It is very fun to select a shop to fit today's feeling and situation. If people visit many cafes, they  can find Themselves  favorite cafe. People  hope that they  enjoy the break time at cafe! Many people  want to enjoy to visit cafe and break time more. Let's go cafe to drink coffee.

People think that they want to drink coffee more reasonable. Starbuks, Saint Marc, Doutor, compere to their medium size of brend coffee. Starbuks's drip coffee is ¥340. Saint Marc's brend coffee is ¥250. Doutor's brend coffee is ¥270. Saint Marc is the most reasonable cafe in the three. Starbuck is a little high price in the three. But, if people buy a drip coffee at Starbuks, they can buy another cup of coffee ¥100. It is very cheep! In short, people want to drink a lot of coffee, they should go Starbuks. It is good way.

Essay 2-01b: My Room

People like their room. In their room, thre are desk, closet, bed, the sofa, mirror, and shelves. They like their bed and sofa. It is important for them. They often just lie about in their room doing nothing on Sunday morning. They like sleeping. They often sleep 10 more hours in weekend. Their bed is very comfortable. When they are relaxing in their room, they always use aroma diffuser. They like eucalyptus oil and tea seed oil. Aroma is loved by many people in the world.

When they in their room, they listen to music. While listening to music, they read their favorite magazine on sofa. It is relax time. They like it. Some people always listen to rock music. They listen to Western music and Japanese music. They display many CDs of their favorite. For example, they like Puffy, sakanaction, Asian Kung-fu Generation, The Bawdies, Kimura Kaera, Lady Gaga, and so on. Those artists are loved by msny people in the world.

Girls like accessories. They have many pierced earrings. They like to collect its. When they go shopping, they often buy some pierced earrings. It is very important accessories as well as clothes. They choose pierced earrings to fit their clothes. They like pearl accessary. They have some pearl pierces. They bought it their favorite shop.

On their bed, they put some stuffed animals. Children love Nici’s stuffed animal. It is very cute, soft and comfortable. Nici is German company. Many people love Nici. They have Nici’s stuffed animal. hey have rabbit, alliato, bear and so on. Their parents bought them it when they was elementary school student. It became older, but they think it it precious things for them.

Their room is their best relaxing space, but they are not good at clean the room.They often scattered their clothes, magazines, textboooks, cosmetics and so on. They want to eep their room clean. They have to clean everyday.

Essay 2-01a: My Room

On my bed, I put on some stuffed animals. I love NICI's stuffed animal. It is very cute, soft and comfortable. NICI is German company. It is loved by many people in the world. I have NICI's stuffed animal rabbit, alligator, and bear. It is very very cute. My mother bought me it when I was a elementary school student. It became older, but I think it is precious things for me.

Essay 1-02b: University Life

There are a lot of interesting things at KGU; for example, classes, teachers, friends, club activities, facilities, and part-time jobs. Most KGU students like all of these things because these are extremely valuable and delightful! The students of KGU that entered last year as freshmen. And they were really nervous then. There are so many things to do at first. When they are freshmen, there are classes that are listening, reading, writing, speaking, and in addition to it, Spanish, the history of English, and so on!! These classes were very difficult, so some of the students couldn't get to earn these credits. It is really mournful, so they should go to class seriously and get to earn these credits absolutely. Now, they are second grade students and also enjoying university life at KGU. They want to study English more deeply. They study English everyday. Second year English classes more difficult than last year in English classes. They are trying hard to finish their homework. It is very important thing for students to finish their homework. It is difficult for them to spend time to study, because they have part-time job. For example, almost student has a part-time job after school. Usually, they work for four or five hours. It is hard for them to work after school. But they need to make money for clothes, lunch, play, and so on. This is why they have part-time job. What’s more, they might don’t want to repeat errors again. Therefore, they will do their best. However, there are too many assignments than the first year. They will be very busy for university homework. They don't like homework so much! They want to escape from homework. Also, Some students are not good at PC because they lack of sense of the machine. However, they are trying to do their homework because it is necessary to join the classes. It is very useful to improve their English writing skill, but It needs time to do. They sometimes couldn't do homework by deadline. They want more and more time. Homework is very important for university student to grow their English skill, so they should their homework hard better than now. They want to spend more time for study English, because they want to use English well. When they are the second grade students, they have to do English Central and get 40,000 points in the spring semester in speaking class. It is very hard to get those points because each video only gives about 100 points. It is not really quick enough. Also, students who take speaking class have to take surveys and tally that. And they make a poster and show it in front of other students. There is no time to make these things so they should put them to work as soon as possible. Also, they have to read an English newspaper in reading class and know the current news. It is not so hard to know current news in Japanese. However, The English newspapers are very difficult to read. They couldn't understand at first even what the headline says. However, there are some rules in its newspapers. Now, they can read these newspapers little by less than before. It is very easier to read than before. It makes them think this current news and figure out what happen all over the world. What's more, they have to write a lot of essays and book reviews every week. Also, there is Speed Typing homework and it is really valuable to write English faster. In addition, they have to manage to work on Google drive that they write. Managing these is really difficult. However, it is a good opportunity to come into connecting with English. They should make sure what they have to do and manage to their time. On the other hand, most of KGU students belong to clubs. KGU have many clubs. People who belonging to clubs are enjoy their club activity. For Example, there are traveling abroad society. This club travel twice a year. People whom this club members travel to Korea, Pusan. They go to Korea in the summer and spring vacation. They enjoyed shopping, sightseeing, and eating Korean food. Korea has many delicious foods.

Essay 1-03a: My Language Learning Story and Plans

10 years ago when I was 9 years old. I had not learned English yet at school. I sometimes went to English conversation school with my brothers. I learned greeting and songs there. I enjoyed singing English songs. 5 years ago when I was 14 years old. I started learning English at junior high school. In there, read English textbooks, learning English grammar, and sometimes communicate with ALT who native English teacher. When I was a junior high school student, I wanted to learn English more. I was interested in English. In high school, English class became high level, and I went into a slump. I didn't like to take English classes, because I couldn't understand English words and grammar. My grades were getting worse. I was very shocked, and I made up my mind to study English. After that, I studied hard. I memorized English words and grammar every day. I could understand English step by step. Furthermore, I could keep up with English class. My grades improved slowly. I enjoyed studying. I thought that I want to be a good English speaker in the future, and I decided to major in English at university. Now, I major in English in University. I want to grow my English skills more. I study English at school and at home everyday. I am listening English music, writing a blog in English, reading books written in English. I enjoy studying English. I try to talk some students studying abroad. It is a little difficult for me to communicate with them, but I want to speak English well. I keep trying it. Also, I like to listen English radio on my iPhone. I often listen American rock channel. It is very interesting for me. After I graduate university, I want to get a job what uses English. So, I need to study English more. I want to grow speaking and listening skill. I think it is very important to communicate with foreigners. I want to teach English conversation to children in the future. It is my dream. I enjoy my life with English! I should to grow my skills more!

Second year English department students are enjoying university life at KGU. They are very busy for study, part-time job, and club activity. They want to study English more deeply. They study English everyday. Second year English classes are more difficult than last year in English classes. 

They are trying hard to finish their homework. It is very important thing for students to finish their homework. It is difficult for them to spend time to study, because they have part-time job. For example, almost student has a part-time job after school. Usually, they work for four or five hours. It is hard for them to work after school. But they need to make money for clothes, lunch, play, and so on. This is why they have part-time job. People whom study at the KGU English department are very busy for university homework. They don't like homework so much! They want to escape from homework.

 Some students are not good at PC, because they lack of sense of the machine. But, they are trying to do their homework. The class of writing has many homework. They spend a lot of time for it. They sometimes couldn't homework by deadline. They want more and more time. Homework is very important for university student to grow English skill, so they should their homework hard better than now. They want to spend more time for study English, because they want to use English well. 

Most of KGU students belong to the club. KGU have many clubs. People who belonging to the club are enjoy their club activity. For Example, there are traveling abroad society. This club travel twice a year. People who this club members travel to Korea, Pusan. They go to Korea in the summer and spring vacation. They enjoyed shopping, sightseeing, and eating Korean food. Korea has many delicious foods. KGU students are enjoying their university life. They should keep balance study and play.

Essay 1-01a Letter to My Host Family

Hello, I’m Ai. Please call me “Ai”. I’m nineteen years old. I go to KGU. I belong to English and American studies department. I like to learn English. When I was a high school student, I decided to major in English. I want to learn more deeply. I want to come to speak English well. Please tell me a lot of things.

My hobby is shopping, because I like fashion. I often go shopping with my friends or boyfriend, and look for clothes. I spend a lot of time to go shopping, going to cafes, or on a drive, on the weekend. If you come to Kumamoto, I’ll take you to my favorite café. I want to visit cafe in America too!! Please take me.

Also, I like to listening music. My favorite artists are “The Beatles”, “REDHOTCHILIPEPPERS”, and “Lady Gaga”. I have listened to this music since my childhood.

I’ll tell you about my family. I have my parents and two little brothers. My father is an elementary school teacher. He works at Onoue elementary school. His hobby is running. My mother is an office worker. My mother and I are very close. We always talk about love and so on. My brothers play baseball. I like baseball too. I want to go a stadium and watch major league game. Do you like baseball? If you like it, I want you to take me stadium.

Do you like Japanese food? I can cook Japanese dishes, so I want to cook for you! I have a lot of things that I want to do in America. I want to make foreign friends, because I think they will become my teachers of English and university life. I want to spend good school days, with friends.

This is my first visit to America. I’m worried about many things. I must get used to English spoken by native speakers. Please tell me about American culture and manners. I want to learn about American life style and culture. I am a little anxious, but I hope to spend a good time in America.
