BR 2-18: The Frog Prince (2005)

"There was a loud crash of thunder, followed by a shower of sparks. The frog had vanished. In his place stood a handsome young prince." (P. 42)

I know this story. When I was a child, I read this story in Japanese. This is very famous story in the world. This is romantic story, because the frog changed a handsome young prince. In fact, the frog was a prince. He was changed to frog by magic. 

One day, Princess Poppy played her beautiful golden ball. However, she slipped and fell into the pond. Her beautiful golden ball flew out of her hands. She was very shocked, because it was her birthday present from her daddy. A talking frog appeared her front. The frog rose out of the pond. Above his head, he held the golden ball. She was very glad.

When I was reading this book, I think that I don't like the frog, and I don't want to pick up my important thing. Poppy is don't like frog too. She was very hard on the talking frog. But, the talking frog was a handsome prince. He became his former figure, thanks for Poppy's kiss. It is very romantic! I like romantic princess story very much. I want to read more romantic story. There is disney movie based on this story. I want to this movie.

BR1-04: Rapunzel (Kelly, 2005)

"Rapunzel" was first written down by two brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. I knew this title from Disney's movie. I love this movie, because it is very romantic and happy love story. I thought original story is also happy story, but it is very different from Disney's movie!! I was shocked.

I like Rapunzel's movie story more than original story. I don't like original story. In movie, Rapunzel had magic hair. Her hair was very long and beautiful. She was a princess. This story has romance. It was very romantic. I want to watch Rapunzel's movie. It likes musical movie. For example, She sing songs every time, and dancing. I want people to read this book, and to watch this movie.

BR 1-01:Snow White and Seven Dwarfs(Jacob Grimm and Wilhelm Grimm, 1800s)

     This is a famous story all over the world. I watched this title Disney movie many years ago, but I read the original first time. I was surprised that the original’s last scene is different from movie story. Movie is more romantic than the original…I like movie story better.

     The scene I like is the seven dwarfs helped Snow White kindly. They tried to defend Snow White from the Queen. The queen was tried to kill for Snow White, because she is more beautiful than the queen. Dwarfs helped Snow White whenever about to be murdered. Finally, prince found her, and married. I think prince was so happy, because she is the fairest woman. I love princess’s story, because it is dreamy, romantic, and happy end!
