"'I can make soup from a stone,' said the man." (p.5)
This story is full of wit. A poor man was a
wise person. One day, he wanted to eat soup, and take
rest. So, he hit upon a good idea. He told an old woman that he can make soup
from stone. She put a big pot of water on the fire. The old man added a stone.
He tasted it, and told the woman "An onion would make it better." She
brought onion and popped it in. After that, he tasted it again. The old woman
was taken some ingredients by his same way. He put in this soup potato and
meat. They ate this soup together. He could eat soup free!!
